Rules and Regulations

A complete list of MWSC operating rules and regulations will be posted on the bulletin board at the pool for all members to see.

 

The following rules and regulations are ones most frequently referred to during the season.

  • No small children will be admitted into the main pool. Small children in diapers may go into the baby pool in diapers if also wearing protective plastic pants.

  • Trash and refuse must be placed in containers provided for your use.

  • No alcoholic beverages permitted on premises.

  • Children under 3 shall not enter the main pool at any time.

  • Children over 5 shall not enter the baby pool at any time.

  • Food and beverages are not permitted on deck area, including the baby pool area.

  • Running, pushing, dunking, wrestling, or causing undue disturbances in or about the pool areas is prohibited.

  • There will be a children’s rest period of at least 10 minutes every hour. (Age 15 and under)

  • Life preservers, inner tubes, rafts or other water toys will not be permitted in the main pool.  Sporting equipment may be used in the main pool only by specific permission of the pool manager.  Safe water toys are permitted in baby pool subject to approval of pool manager,

  • All children in wading pool must be accompanied by an adult or some responsible person.

  • No one admitted without a valid id card. Lost cards may be replaced at a nominal fee of $3.00

  • Deliberate misrepresentation to gain an ID card or misuse of ID cards, are grounds for family membership revocation.

  • Pool Manager has the authority to expel anyone for 24 hours or less for failure to abide by the rules or for unbecoming behavior.

  • Only permanent members of a family membership residing in the same housing unit are entitled to a membership card.

  • No ID cards are issued until the yearly family membership dues are paid in full.

  • Any member, who uses language or engages in actions unbecoming to a club member, may be suspended or expelled.

  • Should a member be found to damage any pool property, the cost of said property will be charged to the responsible family membership.

  • All bicycles must be parked in spaces provided.

  • Persons using this pool do so at their own risk.

  • Serious complaints to the Board of Directors must be made in writing. Minor complaints and/or suggestions may be made verbally at any time to the pool manager or pool operations chairman.
