Woods Dive Team Rules
- Be a
good sport; be encouraging to your team mates and courteous to the
members of other dive teams
- Wait
in line to use diving boards patiently and without disruptive
actions

Listen and follow coach instructions
- Wait
for the coach to signal you to begin your dive before diving off the
board

Concentrate when diving

Follow the pool rules
- Do
not dive or jump toward the side of the pool
- After
a dive, get out of diving well immediately using a ladder.
- No
hanging on boards; no unnecessary jumping on the boards, no swimming
under boards
- Only
one person permitted on the ladder or diving board at a time
- Keep
to assigned practice schedule

Notify coach or rep if unable to attend a meet or practice on days
of dual meets

Practice new dives during a scheduled practice under the supervision
of a dive coaches. Independent diving practice is not advised and,
if done, is the responsibility of the diver and his/her parents.

Attend at least three practices a week in order to participate in a
dive meet, unless previously discussed with coach.
