Parents
are expected to work at three dive meets or, if this is not possible, to
volunteer for another responsibility. Parents will have the opportunity
at the parent meeting and during the first practices to sign up for meet
work assignments. If you are unable to work at a meet you have
selected, it is your responsibility to switch with another parent and
let the dive reps know about the change. This year, all judges,
referees and table workers must attend a Montgomery County Dive League
Training Clinic. Training for judges covers: the elements of an
excellent dive, how diving is judged, numbering system for dives,
degrees of difficulty, role of parents and officials, dive meet
etiquette and certification for MCDL judges.
